Bedroom-useful advice.

The bedroom is a “sacred” place in the apartment where outsiders are not allowed to go. You can learn a lot about a person from the setting of this room. There he throws off all the masks, all the worries of the day. There he can be himself, as he was born, open and defenseless. Therefore, the bedroom should be such that a person forgets about the outside world in it, calms down and relaxes. And even in an apartment furnished in the high-tech style, this room can be warm, calm and not at all modern. There is no need to maintain the General style of the house and in this room, because you are still unlikely to lead guests there. Here everything should please You and only You (well, of course, and your half, if you do not live alone), and to make an impression with the help of “ahovoy” situation in the bedroom is absolutely useless.

A person sleeps about one-third of his life. Therefore, it is not surprising that in Ancient China there were beds with an independent system of water heating, and in Germany there were times when you had to climb up the beaten feather beds using ladders. Since then, much has changed – the only thing that remains unchanged is the desire to make the bed as comfortable as possible. This has led to the fact that today you can find a bed for every taste: with rotating and fixing the position of the body mechanisms, with heated water mattresses and even with built-in stereo systems. This same abundance and materials: from classic bed beds from the noble to the exotic array of rattan.
For many years it is unknown where the furniture was bought and how the bedroom was furnished in ancient Sumer, where, in fact, the idea to allocate a separate room for sleeping was born.
A bedroom set, of course, is the most convenient – then you do not need to puzzle, trying to keep the unity of style in the room. However, you will immediately have to pay a fairly significant amount, which is not always possible. So many salons are going to meet and gives the opportunity to buy a bedroom in parts. This is also convenient because, say, a traditional wardrobe can be replaced by a wardrobe compartment if desired. Especially when the bedroom is small-sliding or folding wardrobe doors will save space. In addition, they can be selected with fully mirrored doors – there is no need for a separate mirror, and one of the interior tasks will be solved: a significant mirror area will visually increase the size of the bedroom as a whole. If the bedroom is already large enough, you can go even further: fence off a few meters of space with sliding doors and arrange a comfortable dressing room.
Materials for the production of bedroom furniture are as diverse as they are traditional. The most expensive headsets are made of wood in the form of an array or veneer, or an array with partial veneering. Cheaper – from a variety of furniture panels: MDF, fiberboard or particleboard (hygienic class EO).
Each country that produces bedroom furniture has its own preferences. For example, in Italy and Spain, beds are usually made of nuts and cherries. Germans most often prefer beech, alder and maple. The favorite material of Belarusians is oak. Among the domestic bedroom furniture furniture valued Karelian pine and birch.
When choosing bedroom furniture, keep in mind the following: the smaller the bedroom, the more modest its decor should be. The fact is that outwardly catchy furniture will visually make a small room even smaller.
Psychologists say that the interior of the bedroom can “put pressure” on the human psyche, even during deep sleep. It could be. But here’s what’s for sure – even the most beautiful interior will fade and irritate any of us, if our eyes stick together from chronic lack of sleep. Of course, there are many reasons for this. And not the last of them – in the design features of the bed. For example, the grid of the frame on which the mattress is placed (also called a grid, rack bottom or base) can be both metal and wooden. Flexible wooden plate (still referred to as strips, planks, beams, armor) – is the preferred option. The elastic wooden plates are good for its orthopedic properties (from the Greek. ortos-straight, correct and pedia-education), allow the spine to remain straight at all times. The larger the number of these plates, the better. There should be at least 15 of them in the frame for a single bed. In a double bed – at least twice as much. Even better when in bed is separate from the frame orthopedic grid. They also allow you to avoid creating unnecessary bed deflections.
It is even more convenient when the bed has an automatic and manual adjustment system for changing the angle of elevation of the head, body or legs. The deflection can be adjusted to match the different weight of different parts of the body. If the bed is double, this system can be used for the entire structure as a whole, or independent for each bed separately. In the latter case, the bed can take a position that is comfortable for one of the spouses. By the way, if desired, you can choose a bed with such a mechanism that, depending on the circumstances of life and the desires of their owners, allows you to easily separate one double bed into two single beds…

Another of the conditions: the width of the bed should not restrict the freedom of movement of the sleeping person. Today, standard width double bed – 1,6 m, 1,8 m and a maximum of 2 m Width single beds – 80 cm and 90 cm, non-standard – up to 1 m. the Width of the lorry – from 1,1 m to 1,5 m. the Usual length of the bed 1.9 meters. In the best case to two meters. It is difficult, but possible to find models with a long bed up to 2.18 meters. You can buy a longer bed, usually only to order. However, if you are not satisfied with the length of the bed, you can buy a standard length bed without a leg back and lengthen the bed with a banquette or by using an additional roller that complements the headboard.
In bed, everything can be done on the conscience: strong so that, it seems, made for a thousand years, elegant – you can not take your eyes off… But it’s not a good idea to sleep on it. What’s the matter? Usually in a mattress. When lying on a good mattress, a person should not experience any discomfort. In other words, lying on the mattress should be nice. The formula for this comfort is a straight spine during the entire time of lying down. It has been covertly sought since the time of the king of Peas. And those who laid straw for the night. And those who knocked down-pushed down featherbeds.

Today, the production of all mattresses can be divided into two groups: non-spring mattresses and spring mattresses. High-quality non-spring mattresses are multi-layer mattresses. In other words, they must contain several layers that have opposite properties: some layers are softer, others are hard, others are elastic, and so on. Soft materials are different types of foam, natural and artificial latex. Dense and elastic materials are, for example, felt, coconut fiber (coir), horse hair, etc. The more layers of filling a mattress has, the more comfortable it is. Spring mattresses are also different: mattresses with so-called continuous weave springs, where the springs are connected to each other by a thin wire, and mattresses with a system of independent springs, where each spring is placed in a fabric cover, which in turn are connected in a block. The last option is the most preferable: unrelated springs provide an “individual approach” to different sections . the human body, give the mattress particularly pronounced orthopedic properties. Compression of each spring occurs separately from the neighboring ones, so the mattress bends differently under different parts of the body. Hence the rule: the more springs in the mattress, the better it is. Mattresses with continuous weave springs usually have a maximum of 100 – 250 pieces per standard size. For mattresses with a system of independent springs, they can range from 400-500 (“soft” version of the mattress) 600-700 (“medium-hard” mattress), from 800 springs or more – “hard” mattresses. Of the latest developments – mattresses with a system of independent double springs, that is, one spring is another spring. Naturally, these orthopedic mattresses are not cheap. But they will also serve for at least 25 years. The length and width of the mattress must exactly match the size of the bed. For a double bed, you can choose one large, double mattress, or two single ones. The thickness (height) of mattresses is different, depending on the filling it varies from 10 to 28 cm.the thicker, the better. The most General principles of choosing a mattress are as follows. Lie on it for a few minutes, in comfortable sleeping positions: the shoulders, lower back and hips should feel the support. It is necessary that You can easily turn over without experiencing inconvenience. Lying on your back, put your hand under your back. Ideally, the hand should penetrate between the back and the mattress with difficulty. Almost all types of fabrics are used for mattress upholstery. The so-called “climate” mattress is practical and convenient. One side is covered with wool and the other with cotton. Depending on the time of year, it can be turned over. Another detail that you should pay attention to when buying a mattress: the marks “BIO” or ” ECO ” on the label of the mattress. Their presence indicates that only environmentally friendly materials were used in the” filling”. This is especially important for those who are prone to allergic diseases. For those who are allergic to dust or natural materials, it is best to pay attention to mattresses stuffed with synthetic fibers or foam and mattresses treated with special anti-allergenic drugs. For example, with rubberized cotton upholstery, which eliminates the presence of dust. Another way out is a water mattress. It is not only anti-allergenic, but also allows you to distribute your body weight fairly evenly. For example, it is suitable for those who suffer painfully squeezing areas of the body that touch the bed.
